WHO WE ARE
The Jr. Chamber was organized in 2005. We decided to call ourselves the "Jr.
Chamber" because we are a younger generation of community members that have
an interest in improving Reading. Our motto is "Be the change you want to see in the
world." We chose as our first project to tackle Waterworks Park located on M-49.
Through fund raising, grants and community donations, we raised just under
$40,000 in about 2 1/2 years to purchase new park equipment that was installed in
October. See picture below.
There is no membership fee to join the Jr. Chamber; we are simply a group of
people who enjoys having fun in an attempt to improve the town that we grew up in
and love.
